Is there any difference between the Gospel of Paul and the Gospel of Jesus Christ

 The GOSPEL of Paul versus The Gospel of Jesus Christ!

1 Cor. 15;1-4

There is a serious pain when I see God's children, fellow pilgrim build their lives on opinions. 

The Bible does not offer a truth, it claims to offer THE TRUTH. And the truth is offered without the fear of enquiries or criticism. If it's the truth...it needs no "LAWYER"!!!

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL OF PAUL?

Paul's claim to have a Gospel continues to baffle the best of minds. Three times he used the phrase "my Gospel":

1. “Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to MY GOSPEL and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that had been kept secret for long ages,…” – Romans 16:25

2. “Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to MY GOSPEL:” – 2 Timothy 2:8

3. “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to MY GOSPEL.” – Romans 2:16

Why personalize the Gospel?

OBSERVE

Every time he called the Gospel "my Gospel", he offers Jesus Christ as the arbiter of the truth he proclaims. It means Paul's "my Gospel" is not his(Paul) story but the story of Jesus Christ. 

PAUL'S GOSPEL is the proclamation of Jesus, resurrection of Jesus and Judgement by Jesus from the  Bible texts above.

WHY IS PAUL USING JESUS CHRIST AS THE BEDROCK FOR HIS GOSPEL?

Paul's Gospel has a source and a validator.

SOURCE

The SOURCE of the Gospel of Paul is in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; "1  Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel that I preached to you, that you received and on which you stand,

...For I passed on to you as of first importance what I ALSO RECEIVED – that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures".

PAUL ALSO RECEIVED...The Gospel is not original to Paul. It was Passed down. 1 Corinthians 15:5-7 gives a list of the history of this transmission - "Cephas, then to the twelve.Then he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles."

Paul traced the source of his gospel. 

VALIDATOR

What validates Paul's message is in Galatians 2: 1-2; "Then after fourteen years I went up to Jerusalem again with Barnabas, taking Titus along too.I went there because of a revelation and presented to them the GOSPEL that I preach among the Gentiles. But I did so only in a private meeting with the INFLUENTIAL people, to make sure that I was not running – or had not run – in vain.

Paul validated his message by consulting everyone who worked with Jesus. Men of reputation who can confirm that the Gospel he calls "my Gospel" is the same Gospel Jesus Christ gave to those who knew him while in the flesh. Paul conveyed to the other Apostles the substance of what he had been preaching and thus validated it has the same with theirs.

No wonder Peter said; "And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also our dear brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him,speaking of these things in all his letters. Some things in these letters are hard to understand, things the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they also do to the rest of the scriptures"(2 Peter 3:15-16).

Peter said Paul proclaimed a message that shows the PATIENCE of the Lord as touching salvation...that is the specific focus of Peter when talking about Paul and not other matters. Peter said Paul helps to understand God's patience in saving everyone(which means God's salvation even for the gentiles and all).

All the letters of Paul (that means Peter read them) was about God's patience to save all. That is the same message of Jesus Christ.

TWO PEOPLE WHO WILL NOT UNDERSTAND THE SAMENESS OF JESUS' GOSPEL AND PAUL'S GOSPEL ARE:

1. IGNORANT PEOPLE.

2. UNSTABLE PEOPLE.

These two groups who do not know the message of Paul is the same as the message of Jesus WILL ALSO TWIST OTHER SCRIPTURES. So if you are listening to people who have problem with Paul...they will also have problem with other scriptures. DO YOU UNDERSTAND???

WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF THE PAUL VS JESUS GOSPEL?

I am a child of God and also theologian, but I am also an Evangelist. My theological trainings helps me validate  the authenticity of my theology as I do my task as an Evangelist. 

Nothing else keeps me alive the most  than the pursuit of truth and the need to help others see the truth as proclaimed by God through His word- the BIBLE.

I do not share opinion on matters of truth because the source of truth is accentuated above options. I do not have "my truth" but I seek to know and proclaim "THE TRUTH".

Nothing is original to any teacher or preacher...even an heretic is the son of perdition or of another heretic. 

The idea of Paul's Gospel vs Jesus' Gospel began with the likes of Marcion who suggested that Paul was proclaiming a different message and his writings negate the Old testament God. Well his idea became popular and Muslims scholars ignorantly assume Marcion helped to show that the message of the Bible has changed. This Marcion was so consumed by his personal opinion that he assumed that the book of Ephesians was written to Laodicea. He even called the God of the old testament the god of this world.

Today the likes of Bart D. Ehrman promotes this idea. So people who do not understand nor know how to sieve ideas will naturally latch on to the idea of "Paul's Gospel is different" and then project the error that it was God speaking to them. It isn't God...it is the heretics of the past proclaiming their evil in our contemporary World. 

Listen, the Gospel of Paul and of Jesus Christ is this according to 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4:

1. Christ died.

2. Christ was buried.

3. Christ was raised from the dead.

Every message must proclaim that truth. Every exposition must project that truth.

Every "Rhema" must be built on this truth.

Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Shalom to the Israel of God.
