I was glad to see last week that three mighty Christian events were held at the same time and even on the same night, and yet none affected the other.
I observed each program on the very same evening - Congress, Shiloh, and The Experience, and the programs were packed to capacity with Christians, full and overflowing.
This is very instructive to the body of Christ.
There is so much work to do out there in the world. There are so many unbelievers to reach. In a world of 8 billion souls, only 2.5+ billion are Christians. In a nation of 230 million people, only about 80 million are said to be Christians.
Even among the Christians, there are so many who don't go to church! The greatest church is the church of the unchurched. Christians, especially faithful consistent believers are in the minority!
It does not make any sense for churches to compete against churches over the minority when there is a dying world out there! Compete against the world of the unsaved and the unchurched! They are far more than the churched.
Pastors and servants of God should join hands together to march against the gates of hell such that whosoever escapes the sword of Congress, Shiloh shall slay, and whoever escapes the sword of Shiloh, The Experience shall slay.
I pray we lift our eyes from little inter-tribal battles within the family of God on earth and face the war to take the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth, for it takes the whole church to reach the whole world.
