In the early 90's, a young pastor was transferred to a local assembly in Ondo state, under few months that he got to that town, the Lord favoured him and the ministry that have not been growing began to increase in numbers. He was so hardworking that neighbouring churches began to envy him.

The eleders in the church began to see him as a threat. How come, every other persons failed here but this man have rebuilt the church physically just as God was doing it spiritually.

So they gang up against him.

They went to Akure and reported him to Baba Obadare, they labelled him with all kind of names. 

Baba told them to return to Ondo that he would come around and settle the matter.

Under one month about six group have gone to Akure to report the pastor.

Weeks later, the elders colluded with some characters in the community to get rid of the pastor. So the whole matter was taking to Baba Obadare, as they were accusing the pastor, Baba kept quiet not saying a thing.

The odd was against the young pastor so much that he flared up, shouting haba, what did I do to deserve all of these. To the surprise of the pastor, Baba shouted on him to keep quiet to the amusement of his accusers.

When the whole noise died down, Baba faced the direction where the Pastor was seated on floor fuming with anger, he said while they were accusing you, I was listening to the holy spirit to know the truth. You know I don't have physical eyes, I can only depend on my spiritual sight.

As they were talking, the holy spirit showed me the house of Elder lagbaja and Tamedu( mentioning the names) where the matter was hatched. You should have been patience abit for me instead of confronting them.

They don't know God but you know Him yet you are behaving like them. The elders were surprised how the whole matter was reveal to Baba Obadare and they began to beg the Pastor to forgive them.

Baba told the Pastor that he had just one month to the season of his reward but he had scuttled the progress by grieving the holy spirit because he tried to fight for himself.

He told the pastor to embark on a 21day white fasting and prayers asking for mercy, patience and restoration.A matter that was hatched for over six months were revealed to His servant under an hour.

We have abandoned the ancient path, we have chosen intellectualism over the holy spirit that's the reason for the pandemonium in and around our worship centre today. All of the elders were asked to step down with immediate effect.

There was a time in this nation when the Holy Spirit rules in our worship centre.We ask oh Lord, have mercy on us and restore us.

Raw faith is the missing link, you can not add anything to God  no matter how intelligent you think you are.
