It is a fact that your life cannot be better than your mind. The quality of your mind
determines the quality of your life. There's so much power in the mind to propel your life forward.
The mind is a powerful tool that God has given us to improve our lives. It is a huge blessing that
God has bestowed upon us. With your mind, you can see the future before it arrives; you can
think through issues from beginning to end before stepping out to solve them. You can
declare the end from the beginning, prompting everything through and through. Your mind
gives you access to places that your body hasn't entered yet. The mind is the interface between
the spiritual and the physical. It helps you appreciate the spiritual in physical terms and vice
versa. The mind is a huge capital of inestimable value. It determines how far you go in life.
The mind is the part of the soul that minds. In other words, you can mind the future with
the mind, so much so that it becomes a reality, and you can mind the past with intensity that it
becomes a reality. Why? Because the mind is so powerful that it translates focus into reality.
That's why it is important to use the mind correctly. Romans 8:6 says "For to be carnally minded is
death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." To be carnally minded is to set your mind on
carnal things, and to be spiritually minded is to set your mind on spiritual things. The difference
between carnality and spirituality is mindedness. Do you see how your mindedness determines
your experience? Mental focus is the transmission of reality. Carnal-mindedness produces death,
but spiritual-mindedness produces life and peace. People don't become their knowledge, they
become their focus. This was why God told Joshua to meditate in the Word day and night so that he
might observe to practice it. It is what you set your mind on that determines the actions that you
take. So go ahead and engage the power of your mind today by setting it on the Word of God, so
your actions can be in line with the Word. Give attention to meditating in the Word. Shape your
mind for excellence. Develop the mindedness of a success; the mindedness of a victor. Incline
your mind towards God by focusing it on the Word.
