Sarah Miébo Téibo is a celebrated British-born, Nigerian-descent gospel singer-songwriter, worship leader, and author. Rising to prominence after 2015, she's become one of the UK’s leading gospel voices through powerful songwriting, worship ministry, and personal testimony.


Roots & Early Calling

Born in London to Nigerian parents, Sarah spent her formative years immersed in Nigerian church life before returning to the UK after marrying in 2007. Her passion for worship began in her early teens, leading youth ministry and singing, which laid the foundation for her later musical journey.


Breakthrough Music Career (2015–2018)

Sarah’s debut single, “Steal My Joy” (2015), led to her first album, Walk With Me (2016), which earned a MOBO Award nomination and won Premier Gospel Album of the Year.
Her second album, Keep Walking (2018), featured gospel legend Fred Hammond and became the first independent UK female gospel album to top the Official Christian & Gospel Charts.


Worship Leadership & Collaborations

A recognized worship leader at Kings Church London (New Frontiers), Sarah has led worship both locally and internationally—in Europe, Africa, and Australia.

In early 2023, Sarah was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, risking her singing ability. Despite being told she might never sing again, she wrote and recorded her comeback single All Clear just three weeks after surgery—declaring her gratitude and resilience.
Her latest EP, Human Like Me (2024), captures her journey through surgery, recovery, and unwavering faith.
In early 2025, she released an Afro‑House remix of “Baba O”, blending contemporary production with gospel roots.


 Ministry Influence & Authenticity

Sarah serves as a worship leader at Kings Church and is active in children’s ministry. A proud wife and mother of two, she writes music aimed at encouraging, healing, and empowering others to connect deeply with God.
