After Boasting of God; Relent Not

After Boasting of God; Relent Not

After Boasting of God; Relent Not

Have you noticed that this year is far spent? You started the year by boasting of God’s ability to help you and take you to the next level, I joined you in the prayer and I prayed for myself also. The enemies were watching to see how it will happen, they are beginning to laugh and you are about considering something shameful, please don’t yet, take a look at what I have been sent to tell you today.

You are about to accept to go and beg from the person you had boasted to earlier, he/she offered to help you with whatever you want but you told him/her God is able to meet all your needs because you knew that help will not come from him without you paying for it in a hard way. Now you are about to go back, will you go and tell Him your God have failed? No! It will not happen, God will save your face from shame, you will not have to go back and beg; something must happen.

We boast of God most times and think the devil will fold his arms and see our boast come to past with ease, he won’t, he will fight it and that is what you are experiencing right now. After boasting, you don’t relent but you go into prayers, if prayer alone will not work then you fast and seek God’s face, tell Him you have boasted of what He can do and then He will answer.

Ezra 8:21-23 ‘ Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions. For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, “The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.”  So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.’

Your boast of God will not fall back on you; so pray!
